Consultancy

We use our experience and expertise to support our Clients through all stages of their new-build or refit project, from understanding their initial expectations to final acceptance of the finished yacht.Services include concept development, technical specification writing, technical tender evaluation, shipyard selection & evaluation and technical specification & contract negotiation.

Supervision

We supervise the design phase, reviewing critical shipyard design drawings, liasing with Clients, Exterior & Interior Designers, and the shipyard throughout the building, outfitting, and commissioning & delivery process.Services include full Technical Project Management, Owner Representation and Plan approval.

Inspection

We undertake frequent and extended periodic inspection visits to ensure the yacht is built in accordance with the contract, specification, approved plans and agreed yacht building standards. We monitor construction progress on-site, and keep the Client informed right through to sea-trials and delivery.Services include construction inspection, pre-purchase survey, harbour trials, sea trials, acceptance trials, non-conformity assessment and warranty assistance.

Superyacht Technical Services is itself a relatively new company, but is founded upon many years of experience within the large yacht sector. STS was established by Andrew Tree, previously of Burness Corlett Three Quays (BCTQ), formally Burness Corlett & Partners (BCP).
